I LOVE The Rocketeer, and don’t think it needs to get remade. That said, they’ll do it anyway, so whatever. I hope it’s still set in the 30’s, bt a modern setting could help to set this one apart, as well.

The general public will see the similarities between The Rocketeer and Iron Man and that’s what matters to the studio. I’d like to give the original another go.

I am down for remakes of The Shadow, The Phantom, and The Rocketeer. Its just surprising to me that Disney would be developing when they just shelled out billions for Marvel.
