10 Years Trailer Starring Channing Tatum and Rosario Dawson

Channing Tatum continues to be pretty much everywhere with his fifth movie of the year slated to hit theatres next month (and that’s not including the delayed G.I. Joe: Retaliation). On the surface, 10 Years looks like just another generic romantic comedy, but the cast is actually pretty decent and includes the likes of Parks and Recreation co-stars Chris Pratt and Aubrey Plaza, Rosario Dawson, Justin Long, Anthony Mackie, Ari Graynor, Ron Livingston, Oscar Isaac, Max Minghella, Lynn Collins and Kate Mara. That doesn’t necessarily mean anything, of course, but hey, at least it has potential.

The movie seems to take place entirely at a high school reunion where old friends shoot the shit and revisit previous relationships. Unfortunately there are no hit men or radio DJs in the mix, but hey, at least there is a successful singer/songwriter. It’s hard to say how much emphasis there will be on comedy, but based on first-time director Jamie Linden’s previous writing credits (Dear John, We Are Marshall), I would guess that isn’t really the focus. 10 Years hits theatres on Sept. 14th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

  • Grosse Pointe Blank shoutout, heeeeeyyy!

This looks decidedly uninteresting to me, but Channing Tatum completely won me over with 21 Jump Street so I’m tempted to give it a chance.

  • This does look like the entire film – but does look like it has some real heart…
