Wanna see another trailer for Rian Johnson’s upcoming time travel flick Looper? Of course you do. A new U.K. trailer premiered online this week over at MSN, and although it features a lot of footage we’ve already seen, there are some additional bits and pieces that will likely increase your anticipation. Unfortunately, some of those bits and pieces will also increase your awareness of certain plot elements that you may not want to know. Nothing here struck me as being a major twist, but I can understand why some people are calling it “spoiler-ish.”

On the plus side, we get a few more glimpses of the future world in which the movie takes place (which looks very future-y), and also plenty of evidence that the movie is a lot more action-oriented than I initially thought it would be. Some of the imagery does feel a bit reminiscent of Inception, but that’s just fine by me. Something tells me this could be Rian Johnson’s breakout hit… the only unfortunate thing is that it opens one week before Taken 2. Looper hits theatres on September 28th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
