New to Theatres This Weekend: Brave, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

Pixar will attempt to wrest the box office crown away from DreamWorks this weekend as Brave goes head to head with Madagascar 3. Although the former does not have a ton of star power, the Disney / Pixar brand still means a lot, particularly among parents (plus Madagascar 3 is now in its third weekend). The other two major releases are both potential wild cards: the high concept genre flick Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and the Steve Carell sci-fi dramedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Elsewhere, Woody Allen tries to follow up the success of Midnight in Paris with his new film To Rome with Love (opening on just five screens) and Kirby Dick tries to expose more hypocrisy and corruption with his latest documentary The Invisible War. What will you be watching this weekend?
