I can’t say I’m really a huge fan of the Broken Lizard movies, but I know there are a lot of people out there who are… especially Super Troopers. If you happen to fall into that group, you’ll probably be excited to hear that Broken Lizard is back with their latest film, The Babymakers, and if the trailer is any indication it could be their most accessible work to date. It looks to be an R-rated Horrible Bosses-style heist comedy starring Paul Schneider (Parks and Recreation) and Olivia Munn (Perfect Couples).

Tommy (Schneider) and Audrey (Munn) are a young couple trying to have a baby, but they find their plan thwarted by Tommy’s low sperm count. When Tommy finds out that a local sperm bank still has a deposit that he made years ago, he recruits his buddies to steal it back. Olivia Munn’s career is clearly on the rise, and after some bit parts in Iron Man 2 and Date Night, something tells me this could be a breakout role for her (along with Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike). On the other hand, it’s kinda weird to see Paul Schneider go from starring in David Gordon Green films to this. The Babymakers hits theatres on August 3rd; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
