I’ve been catching up on the past few weeks, so I’m not sure how behind my comments will be. You mentioned Celebrity Apprentice a few times. I wanted to share that I found the Australian version (season 2) on You Tube and it was better than any of the US versions I’ve seen. Even though the only celebrity I’d ever heard of was Hasselhoff. Also watched their first season of Amazing Race Australia (2011). The teams were well cast. A lot of fun to watch.

So after listening to the episode….
I guess it fell short on time again because you were recording the terminator bonus ep, right?
I’m a little disapointed on the 30 seconds spent on Being John Malkovich, that movie deserved more coverage and a few more opinions from the whole crew.

Looking forward to next week, because for the second time in history with MIB3 i’ll be able to see a movie before its covered on the podcast.

Oh and Creg.. what about the Rock playing Lobo?

Too bad about The Dictator. I really like Cohen and was looking forward to this one. Guess I’ll wait for video. I completely agree with Frank, comedy should not be concerned with being politically correct and I think all bets are off as long as it’s funny.

Thanks for the Toronto recs. Hopefully I can get in to one of those theatres and I’m definitely going to hit Suspect and Bay Street Video and get a giant slice of pizza.

When top comedic actors are put out to pasture, they tend to take on Oscarbation dramatic roles and think they immediately deserve an award. Sacha Baron Cohen’s career seems to be headed in that direction.

Regarding Christian Bale… he was arrested for VERBALLY assaulting his mother after she insulted his wife. Most of the media left out the verbally part since it makes for the better story.

I think Cohen peaked at Talledega Nights. He only can do the Mike Myers routine. Slipping into semi weird characters he created. At least Myers is funny, Cohen is not.

Frank didn’t get a chance to rewatch Dark Shadows? I was hoping to hear some “choice cuts” this week.

I was also debating whether to see The Dictator over the weekend and I’m glad I opted out.
