I’m really interested in seeing this and your review only furthers my interest. Sure it’s not for everyone but doesn’t mean it’s a bad movie.

guess I should clarify that although there are other fictional movies out there that feature 9/11 themes, this is the first one that I (personally) have chosen to see. I was one of those “it’s too soon” people for the first handful.

Wasn’t sure about this one. Loved the book but the trailer didn’t sell me on it. I think I’ll give it a shot now. Good review, Shannon.

I also love in their tv trailers they try to state…THIS IS NOT ABOUT 9/11…hen they actually show the towers burning…wait for it…music growing…ITS ABOUT THE DAYS AFTER…cue musical climax!

I find it impossible to get excited about this film. The trailers exclaiming it’s from the same director of The Hours, The Reader, and Billy Elliot only reduce my interest further. Now reading about the protagonist having severe social problems and I’m practically running for the hills.

Reign Over Me with Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle indirectly involved 9/11. Adam Sandler’s family was killed in 9/11, leaving him with a mental disorder (post-traumatic stress if I remember right), but the movie takes place years after. I thought it was pretty good.
