Operation Early Bird Launches: See The Dark Knight Rises Prologue Early!

A new viral campaign for The Dark Knight Rises that launched earlier this week has culminated in a chance to see the first seven minutes of the film before anyone else. As many people are already aware, the film’s prologue will be attached to IMAX screenings of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol starting on Fri. December 16th. However, now with the help of Operation Early Bird, fans can see that footage on Tues. December 13th without having to pay for a ticket to M:I4.
A new website has launched over at OperationEarlyBird.com with an interactive map allowing you to find a special sneak preview near you. The screenings include theatres in the U.S., Canada and also the U.K. The prologue was screened for critics last night in L.A. by Christopher Nolan himself, where he said, “We’re trying to begin in a surprising place. It’s a good chance of letting people know where this is all going to go.” Check out Operation Early Bird to reserve your spot, and after the jump, find out a few more details about the prologue and a full list of IMAX theatres that will have the prologue playing with Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
