Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie Teaser Trailer

After making a splash on Adult Swim with Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, the very first live action show to crack the network’s line-up, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have been slowly building up a name for themselves with their surreal sketch comedy and seizure-inducing editing style. They have since directed a handful of music videos and short films (the most recent of which played at Sundance earlier this year), and Tim recently launched a podcast called On Cinema. Now the time has finally come for a feature-length Tim and Eric movie. Behold, the first teaser trailer for Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie!

Not much is known about the film, and the trailer really doesn’t reveal much in that regard. However, we do know that it is being produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, and in addition to Tim and Eric, it also features appearances from Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, Jeff Goldblum, John C. Reilly, Erica Durance and Will Forte. Magnolia Pictures will release Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie via VOD on January 27th and in select theatres on March 2nd. Check out the teaser trailer after the jump, along with their 15-minute short The Terrys, which will shake you to your core!

  • really don’t get the appeal of these guys…looks like “throwing sh@t against the wall to see what sticks” I always wonder with these groups if there is ever anything they don’t post. not a lot of self editing or reflection going on

    I loves me some T&E but I don’t know if I can hack their stuff for a full hour and a half, especially if there’s as much going on as an episode of the show. 12 minutes is a perfect length for their style of humor. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

    @Rus, cool story bro

    I love how divisive Tim and Eric are, especially amongst those who profess to have taste. Rus probably rides the Cain train.

    I love them to death but I can sort of see how some people don’t find them funny. It’s surreal for sure but I just love the details they put in there, like copious amounts of lip gloss and disgusting sound effects.
    I’ll be all over this like the Aqua Teen Hunger Force film (which is also awesome BTW)
