Weekly Poll Results: Best Tom Cruise Movie

Although I can’t say it was a huge surprise, Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report topped last week’s poll of Tom Cruise movies with over 20% of the votes. The sci-fi action/adventure had just the right mix of critical and commercial success to take out all of the other choices. Michael Mann’s Collateral came in at #2 thanks to a villainous turn by Cruise, followed closely by Tony Scott’s iconic Top Gun. Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut and Cameron Crowe’s Jerry Maguire rounded out the top 5. Way down at the bottom of the list, The Color of Money didn’t seem to get much love, but I suppose a lot less people have seen it. Do you agree with these results?
1. Minority Report — 22.2%
2. Collateral — 14.7%
3. Top Gun — 12.9%
4. Eyes Wide Shut — 9.3%
5. Jerry Maguire — 9%
6. Interview with the Vampire — 8.6%
7. Rain Man — 8.1%
7. A Few Good Men — 8.1%
9. Born on the Fourth of July — 4.3%
10. The Color of Money — 2.7%
