Ben Affleck is awesome. Don’t care so much about the source material after the horrendous 4 part miniseries.

Say what you will about Affleck and his inconsistent acting but the guy has proven to be a pretty good director when the source material is there (The Town, Gone Baby Gone). He could pull this off and definitely has the backing from the acting community to draw some good talent to star. It could be in much worse hands thats for sure.

Wow, this is actually pretty interesting news. This project just went from “yet another shitty Stephen King adaptation” to something worth keeping an eye on.
