Film Junk Poll: What is the Best Seth Rogen Movie?

After getting his start on the short-lived TV shows Freaks & Geeks and Undeclared, Seth Rogen quickly became a key part of Judd Apatow’s comedy empire and shot to fame in 2007 with a starring role in Knocked Up. Since then he has become one of the most in-demand comedic actors working today, and in addition to writing several screenplays he will also make his directorial debut with Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse next year. He has appeared in quite a few movies over the past five years, and with 50/50 hitting theatres today I thought now would be a good time to take stock of his resume.     Observe & Report is a masterpiece, and Seth Rogen gave his best performance in it.

    In fact, I have never been to a movie with such a strong audience reaction. Somewhere near the end of the movie, something happens very suddenly, and there were many exclamations, including one audience member who shouted “JESUS CHRIST!”

  • Yeah, Observe & Report is damn near a landmark comedic film. I’d consider it one of the best movies of that decade and easily one of the most uncompromising studio films you are likely to ever see.

    I love Seth Rogen. Had to vote for Knocked Up, but there’s 4-5 good ones.

    Funny People should be ahead of Zack and Miri, that’s almost as bad as Observe and Report

    i would’ve voted pineapple express, but he is one of the leads in that film. so i went with the second best, knocked up.
