Time to take another look around the web at some of the latest and greatest movie posters to be released over the past month or so. Now that we’re getting into awards season, it’s a lot of festival favourites and Oscar bait, but surprisingly many of the designs aren’t particularly inspired. Among the classier selections is the first poster for George Clooney’s The Ides of March, which offers a delicious Clooney / Gosling sandwich, plus new posters for Moneyball starring Brad Pitt, Lars von Trier’s Melancholia and Nicholas Winding Refn’s Drive with its striking hot pink logo.

We’ve also got some mediocre one-sheets for a handful of January and February releases like Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Red Tails and Underworld: Awakening, but the real highlights include Roman Polanski’s Carnage, an intriguing motion poster for the Sundance hit Martha Marcy May Marlene, and a great poster for an Edgar Wright triple feature created by Alex Pardee.
