Weekly Poll Results: Best Quentin Tarantino Film

The winner of last week’s poll may have been a foregone conclusion, but I was still hoping for a close race, if not a surprise upset. Nevertheless, some 17 years after its release, Film Junk readers still see Pulp Fiction as Quentin Tarantino’s greatest film to date. Inglourious Basterds was the only real challenger here with about 25% of the votes, followed by Reservoir Dogs. Kill Bill, Vol. 1 and Jackie Brown rounded out the top 5. Four Rooms came in last for obvious reasons, but I was surprised at the lack of respect for Kill Bill, Vol. 2. I thought it would at least come out on top of the often maligned Death Proof. Do you agree with these results?

1. Pulp Fiction — 42.6%
2. Inglourious Basterds — 24.6%
3. Reservoir Dogs — 13.2%
4. Kill Bill, Vol. 1 — 7.1%
5. Jackie Brown — 6.4%
6. Death Proof — 2.8%
7. Kill Bill, Vol. 2 — 2.5%
8. Four Rooms — 0.8%

The Kill Bill lovers probably voted for part 1 but meant both. With that correction I wholeheartedly agree with this order.

man, that´s shit.. Kill Bill 2 is the best for me.

  • Aaron F.

Jackie Brown is so criminally underrated, it pains me to see her sitting at number 5.

  • Niklas

I like reservoir dogs but I don’t think it holds up as well as other Tarantino movies.

jackie brown is a wonderful movie. I voted pulp fiction, but jackie brown was my next pick.

  • My vote goes to KILLING ZOE. Runner up – TRUE ROMANCE.
