Not that bad to be honest. The trailer is poor but it doesnt mean the film is. The dreads were a mistake though.

a black guy gets cancer and can’t play football “no mo.” So he loses his dreads and for no apparent reason starts wearing suits. His dad makes him run stairs and he can’t because he is sick. Then, he obviously overcomes cancer and plays football again. yay.

Mario Van Peebles is the WORST.

I didn’t even really like his father’s stuff either. I can appreciate Sweetback for what it started but it’s definitely my least favorite blaxploitation film.

This looks to be in line with his other shit sandwiches…

i liked the sound of it, and all power to 50 cent for doing the role

but that has to be one of the worst trailers i have ever seen, especially the audio.
