As I’m sure you’re all aware, the 83rd Annual Academy Awards will take place this Sunday, February 27th. The actual show starts at 8 pm EST, but instead of watching all that boring red carpet crap beforehand, why not tune in to Film Junk’s live pre-Oscar podcast instead? We’ll be broadcasting live on Ustream starting at 6 pm EST right up until 8:00, and then we’ll leave the chat room open and continue to talk shit as we watch the show with all of you.

For the most part, it will be our standard weekly podcast format, but we’ll be looking back at the Best Picture winners from the past 10 years and re-evaluating whether or not the Academy got it right. We’ll also be offering our uneducated predictions for this year, and as always, we’ll also be reviewing something… probably Hall Pass. This is actually the fifth year we’ve been doing a live pre-Oscar podcast, but don’t let that fool you. It will still be just as unprofessional and disorganized as it always is! I’ll post another reminder on Sunday, but we hope to see you all there!
