Finally got around to watching this last night. I thought it was awesome and actually very impressive considering the year it came out, particularly the backdrop of Mars itself.

Definitely agree with your review; the first half of the film is by far the best with just Kit and Mona (who was fantastic by the way) and seeing them deal with surviving in the barren landscape and I actually found Friday to be a bit annoying.

Fun movie though and it looked great.

Great review. I was very much on the fence on this one as I really did not know anything about it, but your description makes it sound like something I would really enjoy.

Are there any films that stick to the sole survivor mantra all the way through? I can't really think of any; I suppose it would take some special writing to make that compelling throughout, but it is something I would like to see done.

B&N is doing a buy 2 get one free, so I'm going to make this my third to go with the two Fuller flms. Thanks.
