Movie Poster Round-Up: The Tree of Life, Your Highness, Thor

We haven’t posted any new movie posters since way before the holidays, so there’s quite a bit of catching up to do here, starting with what seems to be the first official teaser poster for Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life and new posters for some of next year’s biggest blockbusters including Thor, Cowboys & Aliens, and Cars 2 (although they’re not overly exciting). We’ve also got all of the character one-sheets that have been released for Kevin Smith’s Red State thus far.

There is also a pair of new Black Swan posters, which are just as cool (if not cooler) than some of the previous marketing materials for the film, and an intriguing teaser poster for a mysterious sci-fi flick called Apollo 18. Overall, however, I have to give props to the designs for Rabbit Hole, The Adjustment Bureau, and Steven Soderbergh’s And Everything is Going Fine. Which ones are your favourites? Check out the full gallery after the jump.

Loving Rabbit Hole, Cowboys & Aliens, And Everything is Going Fine one sheets. Apollo 18 is an interesting sell of the movie. A lot of generics in this batch. I doubt any theater will hang Orgasm Inc. in the lobby.

  • Big Hungry

Cowboys & Aliens poster looked like Freddy Krueger movie at first glance.
The Tree of Life Poster is the best hands down.

Shot, bottom poster, far right, I didn’t know he was in it. I fucking hate this actor.
