  • Whether your home or at a party turn on AMC for The Walking Dead. Support horror on TV.

Definitely want to be checking out the walking dead

My horror marathon tonight consists of Evil Dead 2, The Host, The Thing, and if we get time for it, Troll 2 (just for a laugh).

  • Epic horror fest with friends
    The Loved Ones
    The Church
    Gingerdead Man
    The Brood
    Hour of the Wolf

Also, I’ll be dressing up for work (I’m a cashier at a high end “fancy smancy” food market) as Eraserhead, although even though I’ll be carrying an alien baby with me I’m expecting more, “Hey, it’s Don King” shouts than “Cool, you’re Eraserhead”

i am dressing up as ace ventura tonight :P
not the scariest thing in the world
but i wanted an excuse to talk like a maniac all evening :D

  • Shirko

In Europe (at least here in Norway) we dress up in only horror costumes. And i guess it makes sense, since it’s Halloween. But in North-America you guys dress up in all kinds of costumes. Why? Doesn’t it kinda defeat the whole puropose of the holiday to dress up in costumes like for example Superman or The Godfather? Wouldn’t that just be like Carnivale?

  • Nic

    Prince of Darkness
    Paranormal Activity
    An American Werewolf In London
    Let the Right One In
    The Exorcist

    Thoughts on an order?

I was at the Stewart/Colbert rally yesterday so I could only squeeze in “Ghost Busters” that night…

I made Party Down costumes and then ended up with no party to go so (SWEET IRONY) Colin and I handed out candy to the ungrateful heathens that stopped by my house instead. http://twitpic.com/32qu3v

OH WELL TIME FOR WALKING DEAD.

  • Film Ape

Great costumes. Did anyone know what it was from? R.I.P. Party Down.

  • Falsk

Children don’t appreciate good premium-cable channel comedy shows these days…

    Sigh.

  • Goon

friends and I also went as Party Down

  • We had a marathon at my house tonight.

    Night Of The Living Dead
    Theater Of Blood
The Worst Witch (girlfriend’s choice. it was awful.)
    See No Evil
    Burnt Offerings
    The Walking Dead premiere

  • @Shirko: Ha ha. You make a good point. Also, the trick part of “trick or treat” no longer exists. I’ve always wanted to hand out rocks inside chip bags on Halloween, but I guess that’s just inviting a rock to be thrown through a window. (Not to mention being arrested for public mischief.)

  • 24 Hour Movie Marathon – New Zealand style.

  • Watched “Trick’r’Treat”, “The Exorcist” and “The Monster Squad”– all blu-ray.

Dressed up as Ash from “Evil Dead” to take the nieces and nephew out.

    Good times. I Love Halloween.
