I think like Machete they will stay away from the aged look since it’s basically what killed Grindhouse.
But a VHS release like they did with House of the Devil would be cool.

The trailer is funny (especially with the THANKSGIVING voiceover). I don’t see how this would make an interesting 90 minute film though.

I would actually love to see Thanksgiving go straight to video and have a VHS only release. Old school 80’s slasher style. I doubt I would watch it at the cinema unless a 35 mm grainy midnight show was in the works.

I already have tickets for the premier of Machete in Austin, but I feel it will perform well in theaters. People LOVE Trejo! He is a cult sensation that has lovingly been taken in by the mainstream.

In interviews Trejo aslo comes across as a nice guy that is genuine and loves his craft.

I would be all for a campy, 80’s throwback slasher film. Hopefully it stays true to that feel and look of the trailer. I would RATHER see a full length version of, “Don’t”…
