Yeah, I definitely remember them in the late 80’s, but yeah, Matt explains it perfectly.

The show lasted into 1996, so they were in the ’90s a lot longer than the ’80s. Plus, it makes it easier to identify against the comic Turtles, which are definitely more ’80s.

We do you keep calling them 90’s turtles? The show came out in 87 and they are called 88 in the shows credits.

I have only some nostalgia to the 90’s turtles, but most of my love for them come from the live-action films. Man, if they included the live action turtles and make it similarly to Roger Rabbit, then my mind would be blown. Missed opportunity I’d say.

I’ll probably still check this one out.
