John Belushi deserves a biopic? Already? I have nothing against the man, but it seems awfully premature. Plus, while Belushi might be important to some, I just don’t believe he carries the same cultural weight behind him that a lot of other Biopics have.

Chiklis seems to have overcome that blacklist rather well. He has the distinction of playing two of the greatest comedic legends of all time, Curly Howard and John Belushi. Both men died young.

Jim Belushi will make a cameo as a canned ham.

Whoever they get, hope they don’t get blacklisted like Chiklis supposedly was for years after the film. Which is unfair, since he was just a young actor playing a part, but he got caught in the crossfire of the backlash that should have gone against Bob Woodward, if anybody.

Zach G. might work since he’d have to shave his beard, he’d be less recognizable. Don’t know about the other guys. Especially not Rogen, too well known. Black is too obvious, plus I think he’s been around too long. If this movie was made 10 years ago, Black would be perfect for it. The problem is, you don’t just want to look at fat buffoons.
