Jay mentioned it briefly, but Wayne’s World has some of the best product placement in a movie ever. Instead of trying to be clever, they are simply blatant about it. They actually talk about product placement in movies sickens them and that how people are sheep, etc all the while being completely garbed out in Reebok clothing or whatever. Awesome clip:

I too am one of the few allowed to bash Twilight because I’ve seen it. Which is enough to make me never want to see any of the other sequels.

So glad you didn’t decide to go against the grain on this one because you’re right: it’s fucking terrible. I like the way it looks but the acting and screenplay is absolutely retarded. I can’t decide if Pattinson makes me wanna laugh or vomit when I see him.

And while I’m baffled that there is such a huge fan following, I have to admit that it took me a while to be able to admit to myself that SW Ep 1 is shit.

I kind of thought The Dinner Game was a little lackluster. It had it’s moments but was a little too dry even for my tastes. Dinner for Schmucks looks too dumbed down and kind of a waste of time.

On name changing, I’ve had some jobs in my youth which required name tags. I don’t like customers/random people knowing my real name so I always wore a name tag that said “HAN.” And people actually thought that was actually my real name (including some of the people I worked with).
