For a lot of people, the most anticipated movie of the year hits theatres today as Christopher Nolan’s Inception finally gets a chance to prove itself. But just how well can an original non-sequel, non-franchise film do in a summer filled with disappointments? We’re about to find out. It’s also going up against another big Disney blockbuster in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and although reviews haven’t been particularly great, you should never underestimate the box office draw of Nicolas Cage.
