Middle Men Trailer

With Hollywood in their current “we love the ’80s” mode, any film to come out that takes place in the ’90s is a welcome sight in my eyes. Just off the top of my head, the last film that I remember seeing to take place in the ’90s was Jonathan Levine’s The Wackness. Whether you liked or disliked seeing Sir Gandhi Kingsley smoke weed and listen to east coast rap classics is beside the point. The point is there is an entire decade of potentially great stories just waiting to be tapped into.
With that being said, the folks over at Trailer Addict have just put up a new trailer for Middle Men. From what I gather of the preview, the film is a biopic on the men responsible for the birth of internet porn in the ’90s, and God bless them. The film is both written and directed by George Gallo. That’s right, the same George Gallo whose directing credits include Trapped In Paradise and Double Take and whose writing credits are Bad Boys 1 and 2 and The Whole Ten Yards. What, you’re not impressed? Okay, neither was I, but I have to admit the trailer does look interesting, and the cast is nothing to scoff at. The film stars Luke Wilson, Giovanni Ribisi, Gabriel Macht and James Caan and has a US release date of August 6th.
Even if the film winds up sucking, it will still have one of the best tag lines I’ve seen in a while: “Getting in is easy, pulling out is hard.” Check out the trailer after the jump and tell us what you think.
