Weekly Poll Results: Most Talented Model Turned Actress

In honour of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley being named Megan Fox’s replacement in Transformers 3, last week we decided to look at some of the most well-known actresses who kickstarted their career as models. We asked you to pick the most talented of the bunch, and in the end it was Charlize Theron who came out on top. She just barely edged out Jennifer Connelly for the top spot, followed by Angelina Jolie. Milla Jovovich and Jessica Lange rounded out the top 5. Some astute commenters also mentioned a few noteworthy models turned actress that we missed including Tricia Helfer and Uma Thurman. Do you agree with these results? Who else should be on this list?

    Only Greg can make the official decision on best model turned actress. Though I doubt it would be based on talent.

    Another notable mention is perhaps Diane Kruger, although with the exception of Inglourious Basterds her best work hasn’t been in English.

    I agree on the list. These ladies have either been nominated or won an Academy Award. Let’s hope the new girl can act better than megan fox.
