Roeg's DON'T LOOK NOW, is one of my favourite Horror Movies ever, and it can also be heavy handed at times, his very aggressive use of imagery and editing is one of the things that makes him interesting. I cannot think of anyone who is quite like him as a director.

...And Gulpilil is always excellent, I've seen that actor in about 20 films, I think and there is never a bad performance!

Great review Jay, I recently heard about this movie talking with a friend about script lengths and apparently it's famous for having like a 35 page script. I suppose that means it's light on dialogue? Given the subject matter and environment I would consider that a plus. Otherwise it'd be like that Disney movie about the kids that had to trek the Sahara, or something.
