Apparently Rourke is attached to star in a Genghis Khan biopic written and directed by John Milius. This could be awesome… if it happens.

    Awesome!! If this goes up against the new direction of Conan. The orginal Conan Director (Milius) will haveGenghis Khan kick Conan’s Ass.

    Not really sure a white guy playing Khan will ever work. I didnt work so well when John Wayne played him. All John Wayne got out of that deal was cancer.

    Why have a Genghis Khan movie with Mickey Rourke when the very good Mongol is still in recent memory and needs a sequel?

  • I wonder if Milius is going to reuse Genghis Khan’s “lamentation of their women” quote. It would be worth it just for that.
