You guys, c´mon. NONE of the saw movies are weak; U keep sayin that the second one was the weakest and ITS NOT. Its just that in saw 2, they didnt mean to show us what the movie is all about. They just wanted us to see more clues and that´s that. In second one, we now AMANDA is an accomplice…She knew where she was and what she was doing in that room in the second movie. She lead us the way up until the end when we find out she is actually “the bad one”. SAW ROCKS. I cant wait to see part 7. DOCTOR GORDON IS BACK.

Im a huge fan of the Saw series, and I loved every part except for five (where it was obvious what would happen). The writers would be pretty stupid to make a twist where Dr. Gordon is the apprentice, cuz everyones expecting that based on his appearance in the cast. I think the twist will be something way better, something that ties all seven parts together in a way no one expected. Dont get me wrong, Im glad Dr. Gordon’s back, and Im excited to see how he survives and all, but the twist better be something good.

For me (In my Randy Jackson voice) they all went slightly downhill after the first, and the fifth was hard to watch but I found the sixth to be better than the fifth and fourth and am excited to see how they end it all.

Jonathan it’s nice to see someone that mentions Saw and doesn’t shit all over the series.

I love the whole series, but I agree with Ben, that part 2 was the weakest of them all. If any of you haven’t seen all of these movies, I strongly suggest you do. Part 6 was actually very impressive, and I can’t wait to see 7, and I do hope they end it all with 7, and do it justice.

I’d disagree Napalm, I feel that part 2 was the weakest and it’s been on a pretty good upswing since 3.

Also, I’ve been calling it for the last couple years, at the end of the final Saw, the reveal is the killer not having one of his feet and we realize it’s Elwes as the Saw theme plays.

i loved the first 3 movies but from 4 the series went downhill. i haven’t seen part 6 yet, because i know it will suck ass. but this news kinda rekindles my excitement for a Saw movie a little.

Yeah. I would like to see how they bring him back into the story and where he is now. Hopefully the twist doesn’t turn out to be that Cary Elwes is the jigsaw guy in this movie.

This would be the only sequel I’d be willing to see. I got to meet and speak with James Wan, Leigh Whannell and Cary Elwes while covering Sundance in 2004 and there weren’t a bunch of nicer guys at the festival. Attending that first screening and chatting afterward was one of my favorite experiences as a writer/critic for the local newspaper.
