It was a botched remake and a wasted opportunity. A sequal would only be another waste of 90 minutes of my life that I’ll never ever get back. Seeing a bunch of pretty prepies and black dude crying “slave” die doesn’t appeal to me. I don’t have to love the soon to be slaughtered charactors but, it would be nice if I were able to at least care if they live or most likely die. Not to mention the boob shots weren’t even worth price of admition.

I hated the remake. So bad. It’s this constant need to have insanely beautiful people in the lead that rubs me the. Plus most of them are horrible actors and the script was shit.

I don’t mind the remakes, but the way Platinum Dunes went about F13th left something to be desired…

I would like to see a sequel, though.

I’m actually disappointed about this. I hope they get it back on track because I think that the remake was a good start to reinvigorate the franchise and the talk about what they were planning for the sequel was promising.

I’m thinking A Nightmare on Elm Street will top that 91 million mark.

Maybe it was just me, but it was always my preferred cheesy horror franchise back in the day. Halloween and Friday the 13th were always a half step behind old pizza face.

I wasn’t too fond of the remake, but I think that they could have (maybe) advanced the story in interesting ways. There needs to be a new Jason “story”.
