Well Reed, IÂ´m a Whedon fanboy I guess but I have no problems admitting that Dollhouse wasnÂ´t very good. And it had a lot to do with Dushku. The best episodes were the ones that didnÂ´t feature her as much, especially the ones with Summer Glau. But as you said, he deserves to not get slammed cause of one bad show, considering the amount of brilliance heÂ´s given us.

Where were all of you Joss Whedon fanboys when Dollhouse was airing? It’s good to know that creative people can be forgiven in Hollywood for the occasional misstep.

My experience has taught me that most of Joss Whedon’s male fans are generally uncomfortable around the opposite sex and latch onto his strong female leads as a window to a world they’ll never know (and doesn’t actually exist). Being a Whedon fan gives then an “in” to the justifiably large female fan base (or fan so they can eek out a date. That said, this pairing should work quite well for most comic book fans. In other words: NEEERRRDDDZZZZ!
