i just want somebody , anybody to make a new he-man movie ….it needs to be live action and have battle cat and orko and all the main characters…they need to start from the begining of the storyline with adam and all. the 1987 film was ok when i was a kid becaus i just wanted to see he-man period. but they short cut alot of things…give me a good movie , a complete story and a bad ass sword

I agree that a new MOTU movie is long overdue. The ’80’s Dolph Lundgren version was ok for it’s time, but for me Dolph just seemed more at home playing either Frank Castle or Ivan Drago. I Personally think that the movie would do well in live action. Sometimes I think hollywood just uses computer animation if they are running on a short deadline or don’t want to try to do something astounding. Not all directors are like that, but there have been a few movies that I feel fell into that trap.

A new motr movie is long over due definitely one of my favorites as kid even though now when you look back on it the cartoon was silly and cheesy but still looking forward to the movie

I agree that a CG He-Man movie would be awesome. Let’s just hope it’s better than the 80s movie, or even worse, the more recent He-Man animated series

they really need to make one everyone would pay to see it even if it sucks. I liked the 80;s heman even though many didn’t. I want to see a better he man with costumes close to the toys but with rust and dirt

I think it should be a remake of the first movie or at least the sequal because at end of credits skeletor survives the fall and says I will return… I hope either James Earl Jones playes the voice of he man (NOt pronce Adam) but the big beefy he man or the voice of beast man.

Warburton would be awesome. The Tick was such a kickass show and if he was in He-man, I assume it would have the campy/comedic slant it should.

Maybe a “movie within a movie,” there some kids are playing with action figures?

Then, whatever they see in their house (ie: a housecat, an aquarium, bookshelves, etc.) becomes translated into the world of big budget action. So you could laugh at the absurdity

also; wouldn’t this be the best candidate for 3d computer animation?

I say that the voice of he-man should be played by Patrick Warburton
