  • Reed!
Pull yourself together man! The world needs you!

  • projectgenesis

Great to hear some positive Cantankerous news! Reed come back!!

  • On The Human Centipede and the two HOSTEL films, I’ve always viewed Eli Roth’s films (including Cabin Fever) as very solid black comedies. Yes, that fan-boy oneupmanship is most definitely there, but that doesn’t detract from my enjoyment of those films.

  • I’m afraid that “Reed Farrington Returns” will be as disappointing as “Superman Returns” was.

  • kyriacos

    it can’t be that bad..

  • hello, for Jay,

I had TMJ in my jaw, this might be what you have. Mine was caused by grinding my teeth at night, sleeping on my stomach so my jaw is displaced by the pillow…anyway, my bite was out of alignment and this caused stress in the jaw forcing it to not line up – clicking and locking up. I had “coral plaste” (sp) done were they take a mold of your mouth, put it on an articulator, then the dentist grinds and adds material to your enamel to realign your bite. not as bad as it sounds, problem solved, just get a good dentist as the first one that worked on me (dad’s frat brother) didn’t get it right!

On the Reed Cantankerous news, I’m disappointed in you Jay. I consider you the future of documentary film and you can’t figure out a way to harness a simple (yet alien) subject like Reed. What are you going to do when Morris gives you the opportunity to take down a past world dictator?!

  • Reed,
I’ve never been a Star Trek fan. After listening to you and guys talk about the new Star Trek for movie for nearly 4 hours (including the xtra podcast) I’ve decided to give it a try. I loved the new movie. You’ve made Star Trek sound interesting to me. You’d be happy to know I’ve just received the first two movies in the mail from Netflix. I will watch them this week. It’s all because of you. Reed! It’s all because of you.
    Come back!

  • LOL!

The super hero guy goes to McMaster. I see him there all the time, he walks around in ridiculous getup and people pass by him as if it’s completely natural.

  • KeithTalent

Damn, can’t believe Jay spoiled Inception for me. :(

Ahh well, I guess I’ll still see it.

  • shevchuk, after all the negative things I said about the latest Star Trek movie, you still went and decided to check it out yourself. And you became a fan of Star Trek. That’s great!

Makes me think I should revive my Treknobabble column since there are so many new fans out there. And Star Trek merchandisers have been contacting me about advertising their stuff on Film Junk. In the world of Star Trek, nothing really dies.

  • Falsk

Hey Junk Mail Justin in Philly! Don’t forget there’s a Film Festival here in October! – educate yourself, son!

  • Goon

I’m on Sean’s side going in, havent listened yet though – I loved Kick-Ass to death. 4/4
