Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: Zemeckis Digital Studio Closes Down, John Hughes Lost Script May Get Made, Another Scooby Doo Sequel
For all of you who thought the Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up feature was gone for good, think again. It’s back, with nothing but big news for all of you who haven’t kept yourselves in the loop the past few weeks. Headliners include the passing of Peter Graves, the possibility of The Hangover 2 being shot in 3-D, the Avatar Barebones DVD and Blu-ray hitting the shelves on April 22nd, as well as Sacha Baron Cohen and Ben Kingsley joining the cast of Martin Scorsese’s The Invention of Hugo Cabret. And did you think Tim Burton’s experimenting with stop-motion would end with Alice in Wonderland? He’s now on the ticket to direct an animated Addams Family movie in 3-D.
