I'm just trying to figure out how you gave Monsters vs. Aliens a (1), while G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra got (2) and got a Kung Fu Panda (3) -- considering how closely your ratings match mine (of those I've seen on the list). Was it story? voice-acting? I liked Kung Fu Panda, but just liked Monsters vs. Aliens more. (Who knows? Maybe because it was the first movie I saw in Real3D.) It's the G.I. Joe, I think, that confounds me.

Bob Bobson: I did re-watch the director’s cut, but not the one with the comic book footage added in.

Less Lee Moore: I didn’t hate La Jetee but I just felt it was a little too, for the lack of a better term, artsy-fartsy for my taste. This sort of thing usually makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Either way, it’s still an interesting piece of filmmaking.

Jesus Christ! that is a lot of film…have you ever figured out how many days you spent watching films? I see roughly 260 films at average 96 minutes that’s 17.3333 days! I need to get to the video store!

Ah, thank you for giving props to “The Brood!” I just saw it last year for the first time and I L.O.V.E. it. There is just something about the look and feel of it which still sticks with me.

Why did you give “La Jetee” a 2.5? Just curious. Is that a “love it or hate it” film, do you think? I’ve seen it a bunch of times and I adore it, but I can appreciate that it’s a little odd for some people.

Excellent list. If you're taking recommendations, you might also want to watch Ex-Drummer and Taxidermia. I think you would really enjoy them, especially since you seem to enjoy movies which are a little difficult for most people to stomach. They come out on NTSC DVD next month.
