The Losers Moves to the Summer to Compete Directly with The A-Team

I don’t think too many people were paying attention to the upcoming comic book adaptation The Losers until the first trailer was released a couple weeks ago. The trailer received enough buzz, however, that apparently the WB now thinks it can run with the big boys. The movie was originally scheduled to be released on April 9th, but now they have decided to push it back to the summer: June 4th, to be precise.
It will have a lot more competition now, going up against the Judd Apatow-produced comedy Get Him to the Greek, action-comedy Killers, and the family romp Marmaduke. The interesting thing is that this also puts it virtually head to head with The A-Team, the very movie that it has been drawing so many comparisons to. The A-Team hits theatres one week later, on June 11th. I smell a showdown! Personally, I don’t think The Losers stands much of a chance, but I guess Warner Brothers decided to move The Losers so that it would not take away from Clash of the Titans in April. What do you think, could The Losers be a surprise summer hit, or will it simply get lost in the shuffle?
