What a stupid review. Not only does it lack of good nominations (WHERE THE FUCK WAS MARY & MAX!?!!!?), but it also give the prize to the least deserving nomanees.

I don't mean to be living in the past, but man, last year's awards were awful. They didn't even nominate WALL-E for writing (while Madagascar 2 and Horton Hears A Who got a nod) music, or character design and then they gave Kung Fu Panda awards over WALL-E for production design, character animation and animated effects. Are you kidding me? Kung Fu Panda is a fun movie, but to say it is technically superior to WALL-E in any of those last three categories is ridiculous. Also, telling a compelling story that has great characters in which there is no dialog for the first 30 minutes and where the main characters never speak is an achievement in writing. To not even nominate WALL-E for this category is a credibility killer in my eyes.

As for this year, whatever. This was a golden year for animated films and it's good to see all of them get some love. My heart is with you, Fantastic Mr. Fox.
