Avatar Screener Leaks Online

Avatar, which just passed Titanic as the highest money earner in film history (if you ignore inflation, of course), is already being pirated: the DVD screener for this film has been leaked online, but for what purpose I don’t know, considering everyone in the history of mankind has already seen it. The screener isn’t in 3D, nor is it in high def, nor is it on a giant movie screen, and I echo the statements of Lane Brown when I say that it is not worth even looking for or checking out.

    At this point it mean’s DICK,we all Luv the movie & we all are going to Buy the DVD &/or Blu-Ray right? i know it’s not in 3D.(the screener?)

    why not worth checking out? it looks just fine to me.. if its not captured by a camera but its an actual dvd rip then is worth it.
    And why that lane brown states that people ain’t gonna buy this on DVD?
    this guy is an idiot.

    (ofcourse i am not encouraging people to brake the law and download it.. i am just saying it looks ok)

  • Avatar is a visual spectacle, and not really that good of a movie. With the way the screener looks, and by watching it on your laptop, it would lose most of the bells and whistles that keep the movie from being watchable. That’s just my opinion though…I wasn’t big on the movie itself, but I dug the visuals.

    my girlfriend bugged me for weeks now to write this on dvd for her.

    She watched it on theaters but still would like to re watch it on dvd…. (over and over again.)

    Over and over cost a lot of $$$ and i ve already seen this movie 4 times on theater without being a huge fun.

    I am still buying it on Blueray when it will be out.

    This is why we can’t have nice things… people bitch and complain about how there are no good movies out there but when a good one comes along will they go out and pay to see it in the format it was intended (IMAX) and support the movie? No, they pirate the fucker and then say it wasn’t a great movie because they watch a shitty cam copy. I’m convinced the public has lost it’s mind in favor of “sticking it to the man” by getting shit for free. These people are the same reason that downloadable music comes in such crap quality because it’s quantity over quality these days. Not much longer before we’re extinct. lol

    If your movie is not worth watching without 3D then your movie is not that good, because it stands only on the gimmick, there is no good acting and the story is bad. so Avatar without the 3D sucks, nobody is going to buy this thing when it comes out on DVD or blu-ray, because nobody has a 3D tv.

    If avatar was a bad movie without the 3d it wouldn’t had made a godzilion money.. on the box office. Sure is no masterpiece but its not a bad movie either, i know A LOT of people who actually think is Great. (my mother my girlfriend and Goon)
    And the truth is Avatar its way better than the most junk out there and i bet money or ass virginity’s that its going to brake all records on DVD and Blue Ray sells also..

    and i would even go as far to say that Until AVATAR-2 comes out no other 3d blockbuster that is just another blockbuster with 3d is not going to top its record.

    If that’s a real screener then it’s one of the worst ones I’ve seen. And I’ve been a movie enthusiasm for 19 yrs.
