Movie Poster Round-Up: Inception, Robin Hood, Clash of the Titans

Along with all the trailers coming out for next year’s big blockbusters, we’ve also got a slew of new posters being released at the same time since the two seem to go hand in hand. Let’s take a quick spin around the web and see what kinds of artwork these talented graphic design people have come up with.

Among the more intriguing ones of the bunch are a couple of posters for Christopher Nolan’s Inception, which as some have pointed out, seem to have a slight resemblance to early posters for The Dark Knight. I still have no idea what this movie is about, but I definitely want to find out. Other newly released one sheets include a pair of epic Clash of the Titans posters, a wanna-be epic Season of the Witch poster, and a very stylish poster for the new Tom Cruise / Cameron Diaz movie Knight and Day.   • The Inception poster where the title is shown in all the buildings from the ariel view reminds me of Zombieland.

    Yeah I thought that was a play on the Dark Knight poster. Looks very cool though.

    I have to call BS on the fact that everybody loves babies, no way that is true.

    Robin Hood looks like a shot from Gladiator. I would have gone with longer hair for that role. Maybe the Sherrif will be the one with the wig.

    Knight and day is cool. Zombieland did it better than Inception.

    Robin Hood reminds me of the prince and thieves poster, the one with the flaming arrow…

    I love the Iron Man Poster, hope my cinema will have the big version to sell when the film is out.

    As far as the Inception\Dark knight posters go, yea they are similar but it is a very basic idea to begin with. Take a camera out on the streets to take pictures of them sooner or later you are going to realize it looks cool to shoot up at them with the buildings in the background.
