    Only 1:27:25 what the HELL?

  • modesilver

it was refreshing to hear a shorter show. took me back to the older days of FJ.

Leo McCarey made two versions of An Affair to Remember. The first was called Love Affair in 1939, and his remake was the famous 1957 version. He had the opportunaty to beautifully shoot his remake in CinamaScope, and it being almost 20 years later to make a more mature version (save for those damn kids). Plus he had the opportunity to shoot it with Gary Grant! It makes me think that a remake of a movie by the same director is a pretty cool idea. I mean, who better to fully realize their own vision? Isn’t that what all these ‘directors cuts’ and ‘no really, it’s the final cut’ DVDs are all about?

  • Didnt Alfred Hitchcock remake his own The Man Who Knew Too Much?

  • Also Meat = Muscle :

Not sure if penis would be considered meat (is sausage meat?)

  • Haha I knew we were going to get called on the meat thing. Hey, I don’t eat meat anymore so I have an excuse for being ignorant!

And yes, you are correct about Hitchcock remaking The Man Who Knew Too Much. We should have known, Hitchcock did pretty much everything before anyone else!

I’m just messing with Jay trying to get a laugh out of him(impossible). I wish I had the balls to try to do something that I really love. Working at a steel mill is not exactly that. But, it pays the bills.

  • jay didnt think that the girlfriend experience looked awesome?

  • Machete

    Keep the show’s long.

  • I guess we could have talked about meat and muscles for a bit longer.

  • Sean– you honestly thought Michael Peterson was innocent? Seriously?

  • The Het: Trust me, I am laughing on the inside. Your voice mails are much appreciated!

  • Yes I was leaning toward not guilty, although in retrospect it is probably because a lot of the movie is from his point of view, as I mentioned.

  • Sly

@ The Het: please keep calling the show – you rock!
