Road Trip 2: Beer Pong Trailer

With The Hangover currently tearing up the box office, I guess it’s sort of appropriate to take a look at the trailer for the direct-to-DVD sequel to Todd Phillips’s first major studio comedy, Road Trip. Not that Phillips is actually involved in any way… this looks like something that should have the National Lampoon name slapped on it instead.

Road Trip 2: Beer Pong is directed by Steve Rash (American Pie Presents Band Camp, Son In Law) and is written by Brad Riddell (American Pie Presents Band Camp, Slap Shot 3: The Junior League). I don’t think I need to tell you much more than that. DJ Qualls (The New Guy) seems to be the only original cast member to return, although strangely, he is not credited on IMDb. I wouldn’t want to take credit for this either. According to DVD Active, Road Trip 2 will hit stores on August 11th.

    haha i know it will be shit but i’ll still watch it! watched american pie trilogy again so i got the whole ‘teen comedy’ virus in me right now.

  • No Seann William Scott! They couldn’t even get Tom Green who is like the biggest wash up ever! This movie will suck without those two in it.

    What a waste of time! However after looking at IMDB for the movie I did find DJ Qualls credited after hitting the (More) link at the bottom of the cast section.
