Last week’s poll about action/sci-fi directors inspired a lot of people to vote, and as it turns out, the vast majority of them cast votes for Mr. James Cameron. His track record is certainly impressive, but let’s hope that Avatar upholds the level of quality we’ve come to expect from him. It wasn’t too surprising to see Steven Spielberg at #2 either, but it was surprising to see Michael Bay all the way down at #7. Don’t get me wrong… based on Transformers and The Island, I wouldn’t rank him very high either, but I figured he would have more supporters than say, George Lucas. Do you agree with the results?
