This Week on DVD: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Last Chance Harvey, Wendy and Lucy

As far as must-have DVDs go, there’s not much hitting stores this week aside from the Criterion release of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but other noteworthy discs include the overlooked 2008 indie film Wendy and Lucy starring Michelle Williams, Last Chance Harvey starring Dustin Hoffman, and another Michelle Williams flick: the Ewan McGregor thriller Incendiary. Twilight is out on Blu-ray this week, along with a slew of back catalog titles including Big, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Grease and Saturday Night Fever. Other than that, save your money for Star Trek!

  • Wendy and Lucy is an absolute gem. I saw it twice in theatre. I’ve been excited for Incendiary since I found the trailer on YouTube, but my search on Zip turns up nothing.

its just not right to see a Criterion disc with French/English packaging.

watched the 3 hour documentary “the curious birth of benjamin button” .. i didnt really care for the movie all that much when i saw it the first time (mainly got the bluray to be a fincher completist) .. wow .. excellent making of, really well put together .. listened to half of the commentary (barely repeats anything from the documentary) .. it sold me .. i’m super excited to rewatch this film now

  • blackmothra: I also watched the making of. Definitely awesome.
