You could be right about Fighting… it is definitely underground street fighting, and I don’t know if the main character uses MMA. Still, there’s this snippet in the synopsis:

“As Shawn’s manager, Harvey introduces him to the corrupt bare-knuckle circuit, where rich men bet on disposable pawns. Almost overnight, he becomes a star brawler, taking down professional boxers, mixed martial arts champs and ultimate fighters in a series of staggeringly intense bouts.”

I’m checking out Obsessed, which is funny considering I have yet to see Observe and Report, Crank 2, Fast and Furious, Dragonball: Evolution and just about every other movie currently in the theatres. Knockdown, drag out cat fights rule.

And is Fighting an MMA film? I thought it was straight-up street fighting. You’re making it so that I don’t want to see it anymore, Sean.
