Chev Chelios may have an indestructable heart, but it’s not rocket science figuring out that one who falls from a chopper and hits the ground like he did in the first entry, ain’t ever walking again – let alone beating, shooting and fucking the shit out of everyone. Crank 2 was many thing’s, none of them good. Almost ruins the genius tastelessness of the first.

Haven’t seen it yet as I only get occasional ‘day release’ Thought CRANK was whacky as hell and I loved it. Did somebody diss Lock Stock…. Fool, whoever you are. However, J Statham isn’t all that.
I mean ‘Transporter’? I rest my case. And now theirs a third one – AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I will watch Crank 2 and take it for what it is – High octane insanity – you gotta love it.

Crank 2 was exactly what I expected. GREAT fun If Tex Avery would be of this generation this might be the stuff he’d made. Cartoons for a mature audience.

Any movie that includes Jason Statham isn’t much of a movie, he is just as boring as Matt Damon – more or less…

Well, Jason Statham is in it, and Guy Ritchie is all about quick cuts and style over substance. There are certainly big differences (Crank is an American film), but if you like Lock Stock, I still think there’s a decent chance you’ll be in Crank’s target audience.

How do you compare Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels to Crank or Domino? I love Crank for the cheese it is, I thought Domino was a bore, but they are nothing like Lock Stock, which mind you is an award-winning film.

I’m not sure what was in the original but the sequel has some brief 8-bit animations for the opening titles and then again at the end. I think there was more stuff like this throughout the first one though.

I know the guy who did the video game animation after the credits of Crank. I dont know if he did anything for the sequel. Was there anything like that in there?
