Scott Pilgrim Vs. The Stunt Crew

The official website for Edgar Wright’s latest film, an adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels, has launched and with it comes a behind-the-scenes look at some of the physical training and stunt preparation involved. For those not familiar with the comic, it revolves around a slacker musician living in Toronto who must fight the seven evil ex-boyfriends of an American girl he’s infatuated with in order to be with her.
I’ve enjoyed the first few volumes of Scott Pilgrim and plan on catching up at next month’s Toronto Comic Arts Festival, if I can fight through the mob. I’m really glad someone with such a buoyant style is directing such an eclectic mix of post-teen melodrama, video game iconography and wire-fu. Mostly I’m just happy that they’re actually setting it in Toronto, not so much out of regional pride, but because there is nowhere else on Earth like Honest Ed’s. Anyone else excited for Edgar Wright’s latest?
