Cant wait to hear about Greg’s twilight experience! Tell me u dressed up as a vampire! :)

    And nobody saw 12 Rounds?!?

  • AdamH

Oh yes 12 Rounds next week! Cant wait to hear what you guys thought of it!

  • Falsk

Mmm, if there’s one thing I love in this world, it’s hearing my e-mails read in the sweet, monotone of Sean. I kid, I kid.

But in all seriousness, you’re reviewing Fast and Furious next week, right? RIGHT?

  • Hearing that article from the New York Observer really pissed me off. First of all it is completly out of line to call Danny McBride the 11th funniest person in Tropic Thunder. He had very little screen time and very little to work with. And has this person even seen The Foot Fist Way? I think that is required watching to even be allowed to talk about Danny McBride. His charecter is completly redeemable in that movie(although I must admit I’m not quite sure what redeemable even means). I really felt sorry for ol’ Fred Simmons whenever something bad happened to him, I mean come on, it really sucks when you see your wife having sex with your hero. And getting beaten up by him is even worse.

  • It’s funny–I was thinking about how lame the music for “Trailer Trash” is and how long it goes on–then Greg chimes in about updating the music after it was over.

No offense, but I think it’s time for new segment music (with the exception of “Headlines’).

BTW, that was the best outro ever. That’s a grand orgy if you have to leap to reach “balls that were are cumming.”

Jesus Christ you guys ever heard of a cough button? Great, I think I caught whatever Greg had. What, no love for my question on what you guys want when you ask for sponsors and if any pod casters are making money off their shows?

  • Greg

Yeah, the coughing was bad. I listened to about 10 minutes of the show and I ruined the whole thing. I apologize.

  • Mason

Whatever you do, never change the Junk Mail music. Mail is good!

  • What happened to my comment I left? Must have gotten destroyed in the database fix? It was kind of long so, to recap quickly:

BLINDNESS: Jay is right on. The movie is one of the best of 2008.
KNOWING: I can see why people don’t like it. It’s easy to nitpick, but the overall idea is great and the moments that work, *really* work. I keep saying it’s the movie M. Night Shyamalan wishes he could make.

That is all I remember. Good show guys.

  • Hey Andrew,

I saw your comment. I think you accidentally posted it in the DVD release column. (Or maybe the Film Junk weekend wrap up?)

I think there were some great moments in Knowing, but there was just so much to forgive in order for me to be totally on board with it. I didn’t hate it. The fact that I liked parts of it made the lazy elements that much more frustrating. It could’ve been a SOLID film.
