Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: Friday the 13th Sequel, Suicide Squad Movie, Drew Barrymore to Direct Twilight?

It was just your average remake and sequel-filled week in Hollywood, but the biggest news in my opinion was the hiring of Michel Gondry to direct The Green Hornet. Fanboys were excited to have Samuel L. Jackson finally sign on as Nick Fury; on the other hand, they didn’t have many kind things to say about the new poster for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Michael Cera may have actually agreed to do the long-rumoured Arrested Development feature film, and believe it or not, Drew Barrymore is attempting to make the move from actress to director. But here’s the best news of all: Oscar ratings were up this year (barely)!
