I don’t know why, but for some reason I find it odd to see that someone is making an action figure based on the Showtime series Dexter. I know I shouldn’t be surprised since just about every other popular TV show or movie eventually ends up getting their own collectible merchandise, and yet, a toy of a serial killer holding a knife and a garbage bag of body parts just seems wrong. I didn’t have a problem with McFarlane’s Movie Maniacs though… maybe it’s just because the show is so gruesome yet believable. Either way, the likeness is quite good, as it was personally approved by Michael C. Hall, and it comes with interchangeable arms and an actual blood slide! Bonus.
