The results are in, and it looks like The Wire is the best HBO series of all time, according to the readers of Film Junk! Strangely, it is one of the few HBO shows I still haven’t gotten into, but at some point I will put aside the time required to get through all 5 seasons. I was surprised to see Curb Your Enthusiasm at #2, despite the fact that it’s a great show, and I was even more surprised to see Flight of the Conchords all the way up at #3! Apparently Bret and Jemaine have more fans that I thought. The Sopranos and Entourage rounded out the top 5.

I guess I should have expected Sex and the City to place dead last based on the arguments that broke out on this Open Forum Friday post, but I thought I’d give some of our female readers a chance to chime in. (Yes, Oz and Carnivale probably should have been included in this poll to begin with. And maybe Extras too.)
